Provided real estate marketing support for this beautiful 94-unit apartment renovation in Memphis, Tennessee. Work included creating a marketing plan, developing a website, negotiating listing contracts, creating a social media presence, setting up analytics, and creating marketing reports. By the end of my involvement, the project was actively leasing, with 100% occupancy projected within the year.

Supported a new business venture in Denver, Colorado, called GravityGlide. Work included MS Word layout for a teaching/learning guide, editorial board participation, and identifying the client’s goals for an online presence. We then set up the initial website. By the end of our involvement, the client — already a highly accomplished figure skating coach, ice dancer, and movement training professional — had successfully launched her new business and was conducting workshops for the public.

Co-authored the strategic plan and curriculum design for Holmes College, a brick-and-mortar paralegal college that was starting from scratch in Denver, Colorado. Work included helping the owner obtain licensure from the Colorado Department of Education, Division of Private Occupational Schools. We also helped locate qualified instructors, develop staffing plans and job descriptions, plan marketing, and prepare school’s internal systems to seek accreditation. After two years of operation, the client successfully sold the business as a going concern.

Designed a website and online registration system for this solopreneur figure skating school in Lakewood, Colorado.  We made maximum use of free and low-cost online tools such as Google Forms and PayPal. By the end of our involvement, the client had received training for independent website maintenance and was expanding the school’s hockey and figure skating programs.

Founded a new business for online delivery of home organizing solutions. The concept was spun off from a successful Minnesota-based brick-and-mortar company, which also served as the lead consultant.  We grew the model from concept to pre-launch, with market analysis, product selection, a go-to-market plan, visual branding, benchmark design, and social media setup. Pre-launch promotions included newsletters, guest blog articles, and social media “buzz” campaigns to 800+ Facebook followers and 150+ Instagram followers. Although the project was ultimately tabled to pursue other goals, initial social engagement was strong and the business was revenue-positive upon retirement.
